Creamed honey is made by whipping fine crystals of honey into rawliquid honey - there is no cream in it. It is smooth and spreadable. It feels velvety on one's tongue. Creamed honey stays put when you spread it on your toast. You can use creamed honey the same way you use liquid honey - in tea, for baking, and as a spread on crusty bread.

This creamed honey comes from hives located on the second story porch of a 1911 Capitol Hill row house in Washington, DC. My bees forage nectar and pollen from flowers and trees on the Capitol grounds, the National Mall, and surrounding neighborhoods. Enjoy!
