August 5: Mid-City Dog Days Sidewalk Sale, Saturday 11am - 4pm
Shop the Heart of DC! It’s the hottest sidewalk sale of the year, featuring everything from local business, artists and artisans, to national businesses on Saturday, August 5th from 11AM-4PM. This year’s sale will span the Logan Circle and U Street neighborhoods – come stroll hundreds of great deals and unique finds as well as food and drink specials. This 49th annual Christmas Market is an annual destination and wonderful fundraiser for the Georgetown Visitation community. More than 70 vendors, food trucks, music and community activities will be on hand for this two-day event. Come by and say hello and get your holiday shopping done! It was an absolutely fabulous day - great weather, lots of happy people stopping by to say hello and delicious honey tastings. October 27: Oaktoberfest, US National Arboretum, Washington DC - I'll be manning the Second Story Honey booth selling honey, beeswax candles and beeswax-infused re-usable fabric food wraps. Oaktoberfest starts with a 5k run and goes from 10am - 4pm Rain or Shine! Come say hello and listen to live bands, tasty food truck offerings and craft vendors from around the region. This is a fundraiser for Friends of the National Arboretum.
