Creamed Wildflower Honey (6 oz)
Creamed honey - also known as 'spun' or 'whipped' honey is made by mixing fine crystals of honey into raw, liquid honey - there is no cream in it. The honey feels creamy on your tongue because all of the crystals are very small and uniform in size.
This honey is smooth and spreadable and one of its finest features is creamed honey stays put when you spread it on your toast. You can use creamed honey the same way you use liquid honey - in tea, for baking, and as a spread on crusty bread.
This creamed honey comes from hives located on the second story porch of a 1911 Capitol Hill row house in Washington, DC. My bees forage nectar and pollen from flowers and trees on the Capitol grounds, the National Mall, and surrounding neighborhoods. Enjoy!Â
